Linda S. Classen Linda S. Classen, M.Ed., LPC –

Linda Classen is an Educator, Educational Consultant in the areas of Staff and Family Supports for Exceptional Students, Consultant in Educational Law, a well known consultant in ADHD and related behavioral and learning problems and is a respected Licensed Professional Counselor.  Her 30+ year public school career initially included campus assignments and evolved into her later roles as a district-wide teacher/staff/family support specialist.  While with the Austin Independent School District she specialized in School Law [Section 504] and in helping others learn how to work effectively with students who are struggling with ADHD and related range of learning struggles.   Linda is a popular presenter on a range of topics for teachers and has been the moving force of the Central Texas Chapter of CHADD, a support group for youngsters and adults with ADHD and a related range of biobehavioral problems.  Linda’s effectiveness with families who have special needs has been enhanced by her experience with her own exceptional family member.

Edward C. GoozeEdward C. Gooze, Ph.D. –

Ed Gooze has an academic background in the areas of Communication and Learning Disorders and Physiological/Behavioral Psychology.  His overall work history includes public school and university teaching stints; a 30 year private practice in communication, learning and behavior, part-time therapy/testing and supervisory experience in Psychiatric and Rehabilitation Hospital settings and numerous professional and family training presentations.
Over the last 12 years he has shifted his program emphasis to a Positive Coaching approach for working with exceptional individuals and organizational change and is increasingly emphasizing programming based on Applied Neuroscience and other Biobehavioral Sciences.

For over 12 years Linda and Ed have episodically provided Parent/ Family Group and Individual Support Services.  The programming emphasis has shifted more sharply in the past 5 years or so towards positive, science-based coaching approaches.  This research-based, multi-faceted approach is still unique among regional professionals who work with exceptional persons and their families.
